Jean-André Gbarssin began his career in the Venture Capital industry working at HealthCap, a fund primarily investing in Biotechnology. He was involved in deals ranging from seed funding to series C round of financing. He worked on major tradesales such as the acquisition of CoreValve by Medtronic in 2009 and the sale of Jerini to Shire in 2008. Jean-André graduated with distinction and Dean’s Honour List from the John Molson School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce. He is Calvin C. Poter fellow. He is also a graduate from the Faculty of Law of McGill University.
