Charles Sirois is a leading figure in the Canadian communications industry. Over the course of his career Mr. Sirois led BCE Mobile Communications and Teleglobe as Chairman and CEO. He also founded Telesystem International Wireless and Microcell Communications (Fido). Mr. Sirois was Chairman of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) from 2009 to 2015.
Mr. Sirois is Chairman of the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and also Chairman of Réseau Mentorat. He also sits on the board of directors of QG100 Network and Triotech.
Mr. Sirois holds five honorary doctorates and he is recipient of the Order of Canada and the National Order of Quebec. He was inducted into Canada’s Telecommunications Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. Mr. Sirois published two books: “The Medium and the Muse” and “Organic Management: Creating a Culture of Innovation”.
